Muscles & Joints

Whether you are (or have been) an avid athlete or not, and your muscles & joints could use some support, then read on.

In a joint, 2 or more bones come together. Think for example of your hip (thigh bone & pelvis) or your shoulder (upper arm, shoulder blade & collarbone). The surfaces of the joint are covered with cartilage. Cartilage ensures that you can move your joint smoothly and that shocks can be absorbed, for example when walking. As we get older, the quality of the cartilage becomes thinner. This can cause various complaints. Our muscles ensure that a joint can weigh and is protected . To ensure supple muscles & joints, you can do a number of things yourself:

  1. Glucosamine is an amino acid and is a building block for our cartilage. It also ensures the proper production of synovial fluid, which allows a joint to continue to move smoothly. As we get older, our body produces less glucosamine . Taking a glucosamine supplement helps keep your joints flexible. Click here for our supplements with Glucosamine .

  1. Do you not jump out of bed in the morning? Then you may suffer from stiff muscles or joints. A natural dietary supplement based on rosehip can help you with this. GOPO (the active ingredient of rosehip) contributes to the mobility of the joints. In addition, it also contributes to the production of cartilage, the immune system and the blood circulation in the body. Click here (link Litoflex ) for the only product in the Netherlands that contains this unique substance.

  1. Do you ever suffer from a trembling eyelid or muscle cramps? Then it could be that there is a magnesium deficiency at the root of it. Magnesium has a muscle relaxing effect. Where calcium ensures the tension of your muscles, magnesium ensures the relaxing effect. If you are an active athlete, or you recognize yourself in the above complaints, we have listed our powerhouses here (Link Magnesium products).
