Our roots run deep: our grandfather, Willem Smits, was the first natural doctor in the Netherlands. His son, Theo Smits, built on that and developed the current range with a forward-looking vision. In Harderwijk we have a 'dry' and a 'wet' laboratory. The dry lab is dedicated to capsules and tablets, the wet lab to tinctures.
The recipes of some tinctures are more than 40 years old, and prove their worth every day. Think of milk thistle, for example, this is a herb that supports your liver. In our modern society, we rely more on this organ, or perhaps better 'detoxification factory'. Compared to 40 years ago, we ingest more toxins through food, air pollution and cosmetics. In these times, it is even more important to help your liver with this, so that it can really do what it has to do.
Quality is not only visible in our products, but also in our knowledge, processes and working methods. To ensure this, we comply with important standards and guidelines, such as those for distribution and organic production.
